Summer beauty: Overcoming body image issues – Part 49
I am a size 12 curves. There are days when I was a size six. I used to be anxious at this time of year in bathing suits and shorts are a summer staple. But now that I approach 30 years, I came to make a few critical "truth" for the image of the body.
The first thing I learned after many years of meetings, is that men love women's bodies in all shapes and sizes. The idea that one should die of hunger for a date is just wrong. The number of people that if I had known about you is your personality and how you carry yourself, not the size of clothing. When I met my husband, my dress size was not a issue.
Second, be sure to take care of me. I have seen many women let themselves go. Being curves is one thing, being lazy and sloppy is another. We all know that exercise is essential to your health. At least, I propose to do a little 'walking three days a week. You'll feel more confident and energetic. Also, put some effort into your room, shorts should be off limits Monday to Friday. It takes the same time to put on a pair of nice dress slacks as it does a pair of sweats. Do your hair and makeup on a daily basis, no more than a ponytail. And illuminate the night with a pair of high heels now more and more. People will notice. Do not hesitate to certain styles of clothing that believes "skinny" people. The use of plans and cute sleeveless summer, Capri is a staple in my wardrobe. And not ashamed to put in a swimsuit.
Finally
consider all the women you know in your life. Without doubt, their sizes range from extra small curves. Consider what you learned through observation of images of the body. Most women who look, no matter their size, have shown great confidence in themselves. My mother once told me that when I'm in my 40's, looking at my 20, and I hope he saw the body he had. I try to love my body every day. Yes, I'm a size 12 and never appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated. But I work regularly to stand firm, toned and healthy. When I look in the mirror I see a confident, beautiful women, voluptuous. My husband loves my curves and I must say that, too!
